Singer Kim Hyun Joong's 3rd mini album, ROUND 3, has topped the U.S. Billboard World Albums chart.
This album was his first comeback in 2 years and was released on July 22.
Today it was revealed that it had ranked number 1 on the U.S. Billboard World Albums chart.
Besides the U.S., it also gained much attention in other parts of Asia, South America and others.
This first place ranking proved to be a memorable one for him as this was his first win on the BiIlboard chart.
He did not hold specific overseas promotions and was still able to take the number 1 spot.
He also ranked number 1 in 8 countries iTunes for the dance/electronic category.
His agency stated, "As soon as he released his new album, he quickly gained much attention globally and topped charts. He is truly thankful for all the support and love he has received, despite his long hiatus."
